# Goals now work the way groups do

22 September 2026

## <mark style="color:purple;">Wins mean more when everyone can see them</mark>

We made Goals go farther for groups so that, together, everyone gets better.

### One clear read sets the pace

Kick off with a look at the direct channel targets set by your teams. In one view, get a pulse of your website health, easily spotting wins.

### The by-property review lines up next

See which properties are carrying weight, and where taking action could move the needle most.&#x20;

Select any property to build room night and revenue targets with our **new batch editor**. Set out a few months, or for the full year. Since you can adjust in real-time or as the year takes shape, it's simple to dial in as seasons, marketing, or teams grow and change.

### As always, dive into any month

Hover any month for a quick look at actual-vs-goal for room nights and revenue—now rolled up to the group.&#x20;

Pick a month and get the full story: pacing of daily booked room nights, when visitors were planning, and which channels contributed to the result.

### **Start exploring 🧑‍🚀**

Goals are now the shortest path yet from *“are we on track?”* to *“let’s do something about it.”* That way everyone—property teams, managers, owners, asset managers, and even agencies—all work from the same scoreboard.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.flip.to/changelog/september-2026/goals-now-work-the-way-groups-do.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
