Salesforce

Contact data can be added to Salesforce by requesting data through the Flip.to Platform API as an external data source, and supported with Contact Builder and Automation Studio as needed.

The API will include the Contact Data below in JSON format.

Contact Data

Email

The contact's email address, which will also be used as the contact key.

First Name

The contact's first name.

Property

The property that the contact is planning a stay.

Discovery Name

This is typically the website URL of where Discovery is running for a property.

Create Date

The date / time the contact started planning through Discovery.

Planner ID

The ID assigned to the contact planning through Discovery.

Start Date

The date that the contact intends to check-in.

End Date

The date that the contact intends to check-out.

Language Code

The language code that the contact has used to interact with Discovery (en, es-Mx etc).

Is Booked

Indicates if the contact has booked a stay.

Is Uninterested

Indicates if the contact has opted out of email communication.

Is GDPR

Indicates if the contact has interacted with Flip.to from the EU.

All data is screened to ensure a clean list—users who unsubscribed, whose emails have bounced or who are covered by privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) will be excluded.
